A traditional dish from Almería. A classic recipe, a hearty “spoon dish,” enjoyable at any time of the year.
They say it’s very ugly… but it’s one of the jewels of the Almería sea: our Pedro Sole. In this preparation, we serve it fried, either with wheat flour or gluten-free flour. Please let us know when ordering, and our kitchen team will prepare it with no risk of cross-contamination.

Hotel Catedral Almería and its dining service are the result of the restoration of a former bourgeois palatial house in Almería, dating back to 1850.
During the renovation works, an ancient Arab cistern was discovered, estimated to be over a thousand years old. This cistern led to an expansion of the project and is now one of our most sought-after event spaces: the Aljibe Hall. Alongside it, two additional halls were built, with capacity for up to 150 people.
Throughout the restoration project, the original decorative elements were preserved as much as possible, and others were restored, such as the Mudéjar-style ceiling in the main dining room of Restaurante Catedral.
